bible study thoughts

We had a really fine time for bible study at the McDiffett’s last night.  Joey was able to give a sermon which really highlighted his heart for COC, something we had experienced but not heard as eloquently formulated….  It was kind of a state of bible study address, similar to the charge Rick likes to give at the beginning of the school year.

He highlighted so many different elements of Christian community, fellowship and service that it really refreshed Lisa’s heart and mine.  I think perhaps we are so very familiar with the doctrines, and the hearing of great preaching that we lose elements of Christian community; prayer, fellowship etc.

Praise God for His truth.

And by the way, listening to your music in random is exceptionally refreshing, because you hear stuff you haven’t listened to in years.  Shuffle Shuffle!

About clydeblogs
I am husband to my sweetheart Lisa, and we are parents of our sweetheart Claire Renae and the curiously cute Evan. I wish I could say that I speak a little, and think a lot, but I think I speak a lot and think less than I should.
